    Don't take it home

    今天在学院里帮Monica老师看了一个自闭症的小男孩,心情有些低落。我发现自己有时候还是一个情绪易被患者左右的人,病人高兴,我也高兴,病人一旦有什么困难、痛苦,我也跟着揪心。这其实十分不好。

    男孩大约7,8岁,十分的抵触周围所有人,后来大家软硬兼施的给他灌下一种镇静药,终于Monica才得以把那颗滞留的乳牙拔下来。妈妈是中国人,南方来的,她很难过的给我说:“我牙齿很多问题,我不想他也像我这样,但是他连牙膏都不会吐,也不让我帮他刷。”

    我于是把原来预防实习时的那点知识从脑袋里搜罗出来,一一讲给她听。临走时她很感激的谢谢我,而我看着那个男孩孤僻怪异的动作,心里有种说不出的滋味。

    Monica告诉我,当你看病人的时候要尊重、体谅、关心对方,尽最大的可能去帮助他们,但don't take it home,because that doesn't help anything。
